| | | | | | | | | The Glen Eyrie Writers' Summit brings together passionate writers, expert instructors and awe-inspiring surroundings for four incredible days of writing, learning and fellowship. |
AGENDA | Keynote Sessions: Each morning, one of the instructors will speak on an aspect of the theme BRACE YOURSELF! Chock full of knowledge and wisdom that only comes from years in the business, as well as spiritual perspectives on writing. You won't want to miss this!
Workshops: In the first session, you'll choose your primary instructor for the week. You'll spend class time with this instructor every morning, write in the afternoons, and reconvene with your instructor in the late afternoon for a recap on your writing and "assignments."
Evening Discussions: A variety of activities to further improve your writing and build new friendships, including panel discussions, movies, and creativity exercises. |
Angela Hunt | Workshop Emphasis: Process. Angie's gift is conquering the nuts and bolts. She has developed systems that can organize and improve any style of writing. |
Nancy Rue | Workshop Emphasis: Relationship. Whether through juvenile or adult fiction, Nancy's gift is developing relationships between characters, and between readers and stories.
|
Al Gansky | Workshop Emphasis: Communication. No matter the genre-fiction, nonfiction, or public speaking-Al's gift is presenting a clear, effective, and entertaining message.
|
Kathy Mackel | Workshop Emphasis: Story. A gifted screenwriter and novelist, Kathy's gift is forming and shaping stories that move hearts and adhere to a sellable format.

That was a beautiful article about your dad, Angie. Made me miss my dad, who was 6'4"* and also prayed in King James thees and thous! Hugs to you on this first Christmas without him.
*My dad always said he was 6'4" -- until my brother reached 6'6", and all of a sudden my dad decided he was 6'5"! LOL
Your column makes me wish I'd known him.
Lovely article. Beautiful tribute. Some things only daddy can do - so true.
that was beautiful!

Angie,
Thanks for introducing us to your dad, a special man and a gift. I'm praying for you as your family finds a new normal.
Thanks, too, for posting the info. about Glen Eyrie. I searched over the weekend to find if/when it was scheduled, and planned to contact you about it after Christmas because my challenged computer can't open pdf files and I couldn't read the info. on the website.
Blessed Christmas, Angie. Thank you for all you do to make this a better world.

What a beautiful tribute to your dad. I really enjoyed reading the article and such a great photo of him. I think that smile on his face says it all. And how true....many things only a father can do and mine is also greatly missed.
