I recently received an email from the folks at Harlequin, where I've published several books under the Steeple Hill and Mira imprints. Said the message: "To thank our many readers for taking us into their hearts and homes for 60 years and making us the world’s leading publisher of romantic fiction, Harlequin is giving every woman in America and Canada a free book. In fact, we’re giving away 16 free Books that readers can download. For more information, visit: http://www.HarlequinCelebrates.com The titles are available as a PDF and in all eBook formats. The titles are also available as a Stanza App for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The titles can also be found at all the online retailers like Sony, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Fictionwise.com, eReader.com, etc. The 16 free books (one for every series) will be available throughout 2009.
Among the free books:
Love Inspired, A Very Special Delivery by Linda Goodnight
Love Inspired Historical, Homespun Bride by Jillian Hart
Love Inspired Suspense, Hide in Plain Sight by Marta Perry
Enjoy!

I still read my books on paper.
I can't resist anything free, although like Kathy, I am still a regular book gal. Besides, e-books don't have that great smell! LOL
I received this offer too and passed; I like to hold 'em.
Nice offer but I'm in agreement with the other ladies. I like to hold paper in my hands.
I understand what the other commenters have said, but here's my view: it's free and it's a book, so I'm there! :-) Thanks, Angie!
Woohoo! Thanks so much!
