In no particular order, Angela Hunt is a novelist, a nana, teacher, mother, wife, mastiff owner, reader, musician, student, aspiring theologian, apprentice baker, and bubble gum connoisseur. The things that enter her life sooner or later find their way into her books, hence "a life in pages."

And why I went to Mississippi--if you follow football, you're probably familiar with Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers. I went to Mississippi to meet with his lovely wife, Deanna. I'll be writing her story about breast cancer for Tyndale House. It'll be a rush job, because we want the book to release in time for October and National Breast Cancer Awareness month. All royalties from the project will go to Deanna's Hope Foundation, which helps uninsured or under-insured breast cancer patients. (The photo is Brett and Deanna with Laura Bush.)
So--please pray that this project touches hearts and lives! It's a really moving story.
~~Angie
What an exciting project! I'm glad you're doing it - you'll do a great job telling her story.
ReplyDeletei am so glad that you are writing this story! and, thank you for your
ReplyDeletepart in helping the underinsured and uninsured breast cancer patients!
What a great opportunity for you and Deanna to help other women! Because my husband owns his own business and we have bad medical histories, we are all uninsured right now. So I appreciate what you are doing.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for doing Unspoken! I am excited to read about it. Also, I will have to dig into those archives!
Living just a half hour north of Green Bay, I'm thrilled to hear that you are working with Deanna on the book! She has given back tirelessly to this area and is always giving talks about her battle with cancer. We love the Favres up here. If you make it up here, make sure you put a note on the blog, I'd love to see you!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks also for the listing on already-written BOMs. I had missed some of them, so it was fun to travel down this info highway of the past. Clyde
