Shout Out!

I'm going to be traveling and teaching for the next couple of days, so thought it might be fun to let YOU write for a while.

I could go into the computer innards and see how many "hits" this blog gets every day, but I'd rather hear from you. Won't you take a minute just to say "hi" or something?

For Mom and Aunt Irene: click on "add a comment," then type your comment in the box that opens up. You can type your name in the box, and then click "anonymous" in the options below the box. Hassle-free. :-)

Please take a minute to say "hello"!

~~Angie

I can do that! I am a faithful reader of your blog, just an infrequent commenter. Enjoy your travels!

Hi Angela - what a great idea. I, for one, find it a thrill to be able to blog with my favorite author. I give thanks to you, as well, for your excellent books which, for this reader and I expect most others, always bring an eye-opening moment that will stay with us a long time.

"Uncharted" made me realize that although I try always to DO the right thing, it is my THOUGHTS that are going to land me in big trouble if I don't learn to nip them as they pop up.

Have a safe trip! Clyde

Hi from the Calgary Airport, where I have been sitting for the last 5 hours, still hoping to board a plane for Denver and from there, hitch-hike to Colorado Springs if I have to, having already missed my connecting flight ...

I read every day - and you get the credit for addicting my husband and I to Alias! Have a great trip.

Like most of the rest, I stop by every day. Well, sometimes more than once, just in case you've posted again. :-)

BTW--and remove me if I shouldn't say this, Angela--if anyone would like to stop by my website, we're giving away free autographed books for life or an MP3 player to the winner of our contest.

I would have loved to been in Colorado with you this week but I just returned from Atlanta with the whole family, our young writers were competing in speech and debate.
Can't wait to get my hands on the next Angela Hunt book.

Hi Angie,
Your blog is one of my feed subscriptions, so I know when you've updated and read it right away. I'm also praying for Jane and have passed the word to others in LoveKnot.
Blessings always,
Lillie

I'm so glad I found your blog! I picked up The Immortal at a discount bookstore (!) and was hooked. Thank you for being intelligent and not cookie-cutter! Anyway, I say all that to say, I read your blog everyday for the same reasons! Have fun on your trip!

Yep, I too read your blog very often and enjoy it. I just wish "Christian fiction" actually existed in this country (Australia), and that my local library had more than one of your books!

I read your blog every day and enjoy it. I like your posts about the writing life, and, your posts about current happenings in the news and world. Like Brandilyn (I think) said, you should enter the Amy Awards. Thanks for being faithul in your blog posts M-F. Every morning, I know I can read something new and refreshing at your blog.

I, too, am one of your blog addicts. Thanks for keeping it interesting!

Thank you for letting us take over your page! You are the first blog I read in the morning - so you know it's gotta be good. I don't waste my time on blah! Can't wait for you to come back and blog some more!

I have to give a shout out to the Fairfield, Ohio Library. I found "Journey" there, and have been a big fan ever since. Keep up the good work Lane!

Hey, Angie!

I'm a daily blog reader, avid fan, and an unfortunate blog lurker. Don't you just love that term? Sounds creepy, kinda like the smell of death you talked about with Mark. LOL

Since you asked us to say hi, I figured I'd hop out of lurkdom and let you put a name and face to another fan and fellow writer.

Abundant blessings,
Amy

Hi Angie, Well, I'm sitting here in one of my many "housecoats" pondering the fact that you love Alison Krauss. I love her too and have many of her albums. I thought country music was not your style but am pleased to discover one more thing we have in common. Love you! Mom

Hey, Angie. Travel well, girl. I look forward to rooming with you next month at Mt. Hermon. Wanna paint the conference red?

Angie - I enjoy your blog so much! I hope to publish a novel someday and reading your blog helps me dream and plan, but most of all - I love your intelligent insight into issues of the day, coupled with the occasional humorous moment. A perfect blend, like a good cup of coffee :-) Thanks so much for keeping up with it regularly.

I only recently got hooked on your blog, but have loved your books for years! (The Canopy is my favorite, btw.)

I really, really appreciate an author whose writing is so SMART and not afraid to explore both sides of sometimes unpopular questions. You always illustrate the beauty of God's grace in real-life situations that people of all walks can identify with. I love that.
