Bridge Builders

We have a lot of long bridges in Florida--there's a three-mile bridge we drive over every time I have to go to the airport.  Fortunately, they usually build these bridges very well.

Take a look at this video to see some builders who didn't take into account something as simple as the power of the wind . . .

Incredible, isn't it?

On another note, reviews of SHE ALWAYS WORE RED have been popping up on the web.  This one made me gulp--it was so kind, it was a little intimidating!  It made the book sound so good, I'm wondering if I'll be able to measure up with future efforts!  (Thank you, Deborah!)

And now that Fairlawn #3 has been handed in, I'm researching my next project.  It's going to be a legal thriller, so I'm reading about lawyers and courts and police procedures.  And I need to find a good way to murder my victim . . .

And on that note, I'll leave you.  :-)  BTW, happy birthday to my darling daughter!

Okay, this may not mean much to any of you, but I found something out today that made me happy. The new version of Doesn't She Look Natural uses the same ISBN as the first cover, which makes my job of buying books so much easier! So if anyone from your publishing house reads this - THANKS!!!

I have posted my review of She Always Wore Red - fabulous! Oh, your book not my review - LOL!!

Great to see Journey et al are being republished! My copies are dog eared from being shared. Will we see your Cahira series again? Still my favs, I think.

Love the sound of your new book as long as the lawyer doesnt get murdered - I need to faithful to my fellow lawyers :)

These folks are killing me with their early reviews!! I'm dying to read it and you better believe it will get a day on my blog.

Hey - there's your murder. . .Reader dies from being tortured as everyone else taunts her by having the book she craves! LOL

Happy birthday to your daughter - today is my missionary sister's birthday as well!

Thanks, everybody! And Rel, thanks for the wonderful review. :-) And don't worry, I'm pretty sure the lawyer makes it out of the WIP alive, because she's the protagonist. At least--at this point, she does.

Linda, if I HAD an extra copy of SAWR, you can bet I'd send you one . . . just to put you out of your misery! :-)

And the Cahira books are still in print! They've been around so long they're probably not in many bookstores, but they're available on Amazon, etc.

Have a great day, everyone!

Angie

I love legal thrillers! I'm looking forward to that. How are these people getting copies of SAWR? I really need a book to drown myself in. I just finished Bill Myers trilogy. Good stuff.
