BOM: The Writing

Had a wonderful time yesterday in Richmond, at the FLO (for ladies only) luncheon. Met some new friends and lots of ACFW members. Got home late last night . . .

Writing SAWR wasn't so bad.  (Either that, or I have blocked it out of my memory.)  I do remember asking a couple of pointed questions on this blog for your feedback, which I took into consideration as Jen pondered what to do. Especially with the "Would you drive someone to get an abortion?" question.

Sorry I can't remember more.  :-)  But if you're reading this on Sunday afternoon, I'm home and probably taking a nap.

Tomorrow: the editing

Welcome home. A nap sounds lovely. I slept at least ten hours last night - heavenly.

Welcome home! Hope you get lots of good rest today.

I am savoring SAWR! Didn't get to read as much yesterday as I planned, but that just makes it last longer! Although it was REALLY hard to make myself put it down last night and go to sleep at a reasonable hour! (BTW, Buddy cracked me up!) And now I'm off to lead a meeting at church.

You probably addressed this in a BOM for DSLN before I came along, but did you observe the embalming process in your research? Or just read about it/interview morticians? It's fascinating. (Although I'm sure some folks with non-medical backgrounds are a bit grossed out by it!) Believe it or not, I had always wondered about getting the clothes on; that was an "aha" moment in the first book!

I am glad you arrived home safe and sound and got a nap yesterday.
It was a joy meeting you. I am the one you asked how you came up with the commet, "How do you give your heart to a man who glows in the dark." from Shadow Women.

I told my sweet husband meeting you was everything I had hoped it would be. It was wonderful putting a talking voice to your writing voice.

Looking forward to a alot of reading with all you currently released and up coming books.

It was lovely to meet you, Sharon. Yes, I remember meeting you and reading the email you sent months ago--and now I'll always remember you and your lovely blonde hair. :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

I was also at the First Baptist luncheon. I bought the Elevator and it was finished by Sunday afternoon! I loved it!
It was great meeting you.
(I am the pregnant one that helped with the book sales :)

Thanks so much for your help, Stephanie! I don't think I had a chance to thank you properly at the FLO event!

And best wishes on your "great expectations!"
